Team Manager Handbook
AYSO REGION 345/OKEEHEELEE PARK Team Manager Handbook
Hello and welcome to the AYSO Region 345 Soccer season. We all hope you and your child (ren) have fun playing AYSO soccer. Our volunteer staff has been working hard all year to make that possible.
Now, YOU are a part of that volunteer team. All parents help out the league by helping to pour drinks for the players, bringing fruit and water to the games. Each team needs a team manager, someone who can organize the parents on the team and provide league information to them.
Team Managers play an important role in helping the league run smoothly so that our children can all enjoy playing soccer. Team managers relay information from the region’s board to the parents and players. They help the team get ready for the start of the season and make sure drinks and fruit are provided at each game (by parents on the team).
They make phone calls to the parents when games are rained out, they remind parents when team pictures are to be taken, and collect money for the coaches gift at the end of the season.
This handbook explains your responsibilities and exactly how to carry them out. It also summarizes league policies and guidelines. You will get all the help you need. We also plan to keep meetings to a minimum, because we are all busy.
